I woke up today with a very specific blog topic in mind.
Yet, all of a sudden the idea of forgiveness popped into my head. And, it struck me that with the holiday's around the corner, now might be a good time to talk about forgiveness and releasing the past. As I made my coffee, I kept bouncing back and forth between the two ideas. I have recently started tapping into my own intuition in ways never before imaginable. As I sat down at my desk with my coffee, I used the two doTERRA essential oils I felt the biggest pull towards. I also surrounded my workspace with the crystals I felt most in alignment with, a tip I learned in Jennifer Jiva's book "Spiritual Detox for Divas." Next, I did a quick shuffle and pulled a card from the Believe and Balance deck created by my friend Nicole Allard. The Universal message was clear: Forgive and offer gratitude to your past and move forward. So, today we will focus on forgiveness and releasing the past so that we can move forward. One of the most powerful processes I have ever learned for doing this is the Metta (or Loving-Kindness) Meditation that Gabby Bernstein taught us at the Level 1 Spirit Junkie Masterclass in New York City this past summer.
